Thank you for the gift of this new day! You amaze me every day with your love and your great compassion. I hear so many stories of your children that are going through trials big and small. This life of ours is filled with blessings but also hardships – I thank you for both. For in the blessings we experience true joy and in the sufferings we are drawn closer into your heart because we need you so much. It is in those times of deep tribulation that I have come to know you more and more. You have provided me with so much comfort and hope to continue believing and trusting in you. Please continue to pour out your perfect love over your beloved children and draw them closer to your heart each and every day. No matter what the day holds, I know that you will take care of me. Often times the most difficult struggles can be the battles that rage within our minds as we try to process the hurts and pain and frustrations not only with life but with our feelings of inadequacy. We so want to please you and walk in obedience but in our sinful nature we fall time and time again and this makes us ever aware of our sinfulness which brings us down on ourselves. The enemy has his sneaky way of making us feel like we have no value and we fall into the trap of believing that those negative thoughts are coming from ourselves. We forget that there is a spiritual battle going on around us. What I have come to realize recently is that when the battles become the most difficult the great blessings are just around the corner if we can just continue to hold on and praise you in the storm. Thank you for loving us so much and for helping us to make it through life and all the trials we face. May there be a great awakening within the hearts of all those who believe in you. Increase our faith and hope in you exponentially so we become ready and able to do your work and bring light to the darkness of this world. May your peace rest upon the hearts of all your beloved children this day. We put all our hope and trust in you.
In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
