I am your greatest and truest friend

tulipsSweet and tender heart, you are delicate yet strong. The fire of my love burns within you shedding new light and life to those I place around you. When your heart is feeling fragile, I will be the packaging that keeps you from breaking. I will provide layers of protection over your heart and mind. My very Word is your strength, your amour. Remember who you are in me. Remember all the promises I speak of in My Word. Call forth things that are not as though they are in accord with my Word. My Word is your truth. My Word is your covering. My Word is life. Be not weary when the enemy strategizes against you using your very friends to cause you woe. The enemy is always going to try to hit you where it hurts the most. Friendships can bring strength and friendships can bring you down when hearts are not aligned to my will. Remember though, that I am your greatest and truest friend and I will never let you down. When you listen to my counsel you will rise above the pettiness and walk in peace. I am your peace. I am your resting place. Rest in me and no matter how hard the enemy hits you, even in your blind spots, I will be the truth that sets you free. Do for others as you would want them to do for you. In doing this, my peace will rest upon you.

Isaiah 41:8-9

But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, you descendants of Abraham my friend, I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you.
I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you.
