I know it is difficult to slay those negative thoughts

iStock_000005461949_ExtraSmallMy friend, listen to that still, small voice within your heart as my spirit joins with yours in prayer.  I have many things to share with you this day.  You can always count on me to be there for you.  I know what is coming in your life before it arrives, so it will serve you well to seek me for guidance to help you maneuver through your day successfully.  When you look to the past, only do so as a way to learn through me different ways you could have handled a situation so that when similar circumstances arise you will have a better path to take.  Do not berate yourself for things that have gone wrong or things you have done wrong.  Just simply seek my forgiveness and I will forgive you.  From that point on, the slate has been wiped clean and you can begin again fresh on your next journey.  The enemy will continue to try to point the finger at your mistakes and make you feel embarrassed and humiliated.  Do not let him do this for it will only bring you down and rob you from the many gifts I want to bless you with.  I know it is difficult to slay those negative thoughts for they can be very strong.  Something I would suggest to you in these moments is to lift up your voice in song to praise the Father – just a sweet simple tune that you make up or one that you already know.  The song does not matter, it’s the act of praising my Father that will change the atmosphere around you and get you centered back in on the truth of my love. Be at peace this day and know that I love you beyond compare. There is so much goodness coming your way!

Psalm 59:17
You are my strength, I sing praise to you; you, God, are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely.
*****
2 Chronicles 20:22
As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.
