iStock_000009848284_ExtraSmallSweet friend, beloved of my heart – do not worry about what is going to happen today.  Put all your faith and trust in me – that is the very best thing you can do – the only solution that will truly make a difference in the outcome of your day.  I want you to take a leap of faith today to believe that you can do what I have called you to do, whether it be work, being a parent, studying for a test, or just the mundane tasks of the day that need to get done.  What you have before you today is all you can work on at this moment in time.  You cannot skip a day or days ahead.  You need to be present in the moment yet filled with hope for the future that you can achieve your dreams, that you will receive the desires of your heart, that you will be free from the bondage or trial you are in.  We can only take it together one day at a time.  If I were to give you five days to take on at once you would be overwhelmed and overburdened.  I give you this one day to work on today.  It begins with a minute, then an hour, through the fullness of the day. Take a deep breath and take it one step at a time. No matter what you are facing, we can tackle it together and you will be successful as you lean on me with all your heart. Remember, my yoke is easy and my burden is light.  I will not give you more than you can handle.  I will always be your strength as you call upon my name.

Psalm 55:22

Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.
